TOM HAL (Imp.)- The old Canadian - the original Tom Hal, a Canadian Pacer who was the founder of the Tom Hal Racers and sire of Bald Stockings, the first horse to make the running walk gait famous. The greatest sire of both saddlers and pacers of his day. Died at age 41. 1802 - 1843
