Dam of nine Arabian foals, four fillies and five colts, one which was gelded. "*Ugra's sire was a successful sire of money winning race horses in Poland, His son Rozchodnik was sold in 1938 to the Italian government. Her dam is representative of some of the best known blood of the "historical" studs of Poland. In appearance *Ugra is almost a reproduction of her desert bred sire, which was one of the most higly reputed stallions imported to Poland in recent years. *Ugra was trained for racing, and her sister, Sagar, leading money-winner as a four-year-old, had the distinction of being the only Arab mare in Poland to win the Derby as well as the Oaks. Her Half-Brothers, Rozdzwick, Safar, and Urkab by Kuhailan Kruszan were confiscated by the Germans in WWII and stood at Debica. Owner: General J. M.
