For mysterious reasons, the first Arab foals by Ursus appear in 1923, that is to say more than ten years later, and are recorded by private stockbreeders, and not by Yeguada Militar. (in particular SIRIO III born at Domecq) Finally, Yeguada Militar sells it in 1928 at an incredibly low price (615 pesetas) in Don Jose Maria Ybarra, at which he sired the exceptional standard GANDHY (by GOMARA) in 1931.
Several of his offspring perished during the Civil war.
