Weimar was the first Hannoverian registered in the General Stud and Herd Book (H1-54 A FS2A); and the first Hanoverian registered in the Canadian Hunter Stud Book (764). The Morasches later imported two Hannoverian mares (1961) - Windrose and Fernanda, to establish the breed in Canada, and begin a new breeding program with two other mares (Thoroughbred and Arabian).
