Sired by Dan Patch, a TWH, NOT by Dan Patch the famous Standardbred. Other sources state Dan Patch the Standardbred is his sire. Dan Patch, died in 1916 in MN. This colt was foaled in 1921. Unless AI was used (it was available) this horse was then actually sired by a Tennessee Walker, not a standardbred. Ipeds may have it wrong.
