Bred by Zoo Rostock. Pure polish. Owned by Lindenhof Arabians Germany. Zamira represents, perhaps more than any other horse, idea and quality selections of the breeding program of the Rostock Zoo. In recent vintages, before the breed was abandoned in Rostock, on the Baltic Sea caused a number of top horses, with typical Polish Arabian charisma. Here the influence of the stallion Puszczyk played a crucial role. He brought fresh powerful Polish blood in the closely-drawn Rostock population, thereby allowing ultimately the continuation of the breeding program on a high level quality.
