Born in Asia Minor (Turkey) and came from the finest herds of that region Captured by members of the Russian Army during the Russo-Turkish wars He was sold to Prince Eustachy Sanguszko in 1813 in Dubno, Ukraine and brought to Slawuta Stud - Poland, owned by his family He was the Prince's best riding horse While the Sanguszko family considered this horse Oriental, they did not consider him as Arabian ZBOJ was sire at Slawuta Stud of the mare PERSJA 1817 (X PERSYA ~1811)
